Where’s a good place for a beginner to go snowboarding and skiing?

I’m interested in some winter sports like snowboarding and skiing, but I’ve never been before. Where’s a good place for someone to book a vacation for a few days where it’s pretty much winter year round, where you can rent snowboards and equipment and just pretty much try everything out in an all inclusive vacation?

Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. Just don’t go down a Black Diamond on your VERY FIRST TIME. That’s what I did, well my bf took me up there my first time on a snowboard and I was so banged up after, lol. It’s a nice place to learn though.

Winter the year around? Try the glaciers or the polar caps. For developed ski areas that have a skiable run most of the year, Whistler/Blackcomb in BC. Canada. Mammoth Mtn, Ca, USA. Mt Hood, Or. Mt Bachelor, Bend Or. If you are in Europe or Asia, there are glaciers there also. For a good beginners lesson, nearly any resort in North America has a program that will meet your needs. Midweek when school is in session is the least crowded. In the Seattle area, Summit at Snoqualmie, teaches thousands of new students every year and is only an hour from town on a all weather highway. They are seasonal, Dec to April.
