Hunt around for a good used setup. A lot of board shops will have used equipment. Its a great way to get some awesome equipment at a lot lower price. Think back on the boards you’ve used in the past and go with something similar if that was working for you. Once you get better, you’ll have a better idea of what kinda board is best suited for your style.

dont go and spend lots of money on your first snowboard!!! go get soemthing thats used, check your local paper or rental shop, your gonna end up thrashing it anyways. wait until you learn all the aspects of riding then go a buy yourself a good brand. you could also pick up a cheap Lamar or Morrow brand new. but being a beginer having a “name brand” board isnt gonna make you a pro.

Yeah dude go with Burton, all the way. Their a good brand and they don’t cost to much, especially if you get them on sale. Also dude check out Morrow snowboards their sweet and the prices aren’t too bad.
