A few nice learn snowboarding for beginners images I found:
Boreal

One of the cheapest, and most convenient ski resort to go to in the area is Boreal. Not only is it just a quick 40-minute drive to the parking lot, but also Boreal offers night skiing. With lights illuminating their main runs as soon as the sun sets this is a great place to catch a few runs after getting off work in the evenings. My dad bought a season’s pass, just so he can race up to the mountain and go snowboarding after he gets off work at 5 o’clock. It’s a fairly easy hill, which makes it a great place for beginners to learn. They also cater to snowboarders, and offer rails and small jumps on select runs. On Fridays, many students take advantage of the discounts honored to those with a valid school I.D. Although I don’t go skiing or snowboarding nearly as much as I once did, Boreal is one of the few places I’d go. It’s right off Interstate-80, which makes it an easy drive to and from Reno; and with Truckee right on the way, you know there’s always somewhere open where you can stop and eat. -Lauren Randolph
