All slopes are pretty much the same difficultly, but just steeper. Without waterproof equipment you will be soaked to the bone. I will fall A LOT, that’s where the waterproof equipment comes into play. You won’t have much fun your first day.

your deffinatly going to fall a lot. and yes your butt will hurt. and yes you will be wet and cold and unhappy at first. but its the best thing in the world once you know what your doing. after the bunny hill just look for signs on runs. if you get past the bunny you will want to stay on runs marked with a green circle on the sign. after those the blue square is harder. then black diamond and double black diamond. stay away from those. and stay away from trees.

where do you live? I’m pretty sure across North America they are ordered:
    green- easiest
    blue- medium
    red- next hardest
    black- hardest/most advanced
but, before going on the green hill, make sure you’re confident and have mastered the bunny hill. even if YOU think you’re ok, evaluate your skills against those of the other riders on the hill. It’s not safe if you’re going slow and stopping (even if you’re not falling) and everyone is racing around you.

    2. wear LAYERS. try long sleeve shirt, and a jacket, and bring an extra sweatshirt. or wear it. doesn’t matter. but you NEED snowpants. sweatsocks and stuff will work, but you need need need snowpants. you will be freezing and soaked to the bone. snowpants and a waterproofed jacket are pretty much mandatory- especially on your first go. and waterproof gloves. you’re going to be falling into the snow, and doing up your bindings every time you get to the top- and bottom. your hands are going to FREEZE if they aren’t properly protected.

    3. you should expect to fall A LOT. on your first two, three, four runs, you will fall a lot and get really frustrated. but don’t give up. it’ll be disheartening, but just push through it, and keep getting up. you’ll get the hang of it eventually. it won’t be fun in the beginning, but if you progress steadily it should end up being a blast. youtube won’t help you with the basics- you need to figure those out by yourself. or find a friend that can help you down and show you a couple pointers.
    good luck… enjoy!
